I was born in Sweden and originally came to the U.S. for what was supposed to be just one year. Clearly, that plan changed! I grew up traveling around the world, and I have kept that passion alive. Whenever I have time off, I am usually off exploring other countries and cultures. I am also very involved in the Swedish community in D.C. I currently serve on the board of Swedish Women’s Educational Association, DC, which is part of a global organization dedicated to promoting Swedish language, culture, and traditions outside of Sweden. I often joke that I am more Swedish here than I ever was back home. Closer to home, I love being engaged in my condominium community.  

I recharge in a few different ways. I am very active, throwing some weights around in the gym is usually my go-to reset. When I want something quieter, I will dive into a good crime book. And on the more fun, creative side, I love baking. It is very relaxing, and my neighbors enjoy the treats.
